Lemon and Mint Infused Water

by Sophie Langlois

This past month I have really loved infusing my water with lemon slices and some mint. I've found that it is not only very refreshing but it has helped to clear my system when I have been feeling sick or just under the weather! I use about half a lemon for each 24 ounces of water and just about a hand full of mint leaves. I strongly recommend trying this little addition to spice up your water bottle and keep you feeling fresh and healthy all day!!

#1 Travel Tip

by Sophie Langlois

image.jpg

Hate traveling with jewelry? Trust me, I used to. They would be tangled and torn appart no matter how you packed them. In their own individual plastic bag, nope they still get tangeled in themselves. But don't worry, I have solved this issue. Place your necklace through a straw and buckle it on the other side. It's a simple as that. They stay tangle free and you're life has become just that much simpler. Yes I know, your mind is blow. Don't worry, you can thank me later ;)

Summer Smoothies

by Sophie Langlois

image.jpg

I have been loving making smoothies this summer and I just had to share some of my tips and tricks with you! I used to be a big smoothie fan during the year because I would have them in the morning as an on the go breakfast but during the summer I make them all the time. For lunch, breakfast, an afternoon snack, honestly anything. I mostly like the fruit and berry smoothies the best but from time to time I'll make a really yummy green smoothie which I've found really holds me through the day. One thing that I always use are the froze mango and pineapple pagkages from Trader Joes. They taste SO yummy and are so convenient to pull right out of the freezer. You can even put some of the froze fruit in a bowl and heat it in the microwave for about 1 minuet to have as a nice little snack!

My favorite smoothie (as pictured below) is a fruit and berry smoothie. I often use Greek yogurt as my base over ice, as I find it gives a thicker consistency, and I always make sure to put either coconut water or almond milk in with my smoothies to make it nice and smooth.

S'well water bottle

I am SO in love with my new S'well water bottle! It is so adorable and fun, definitely a summer essential. When they say that the bottle keeps your drinks cool for 24 hours and hot for 12 it is no joke. It's truly amazing. It keeps your drinks so cool that even the ice in the bottle will last all day! They come in tons of adorable sizes and colors, of course I got pink, and I cannot wait to begin a little collection. Not to mention the fact that their Instagram page is so fabulous!
