Summer Smoothies

I have been loving making smoothies this summer and I just had to share some of my tips and tricks with you! I used to be a big smoothie fan during the year because I would have them in the morning as an on the go breakfast but during the summer I make them all the time. For lunch, breakfast, an afternoon snack, honestly anything. I mostly like the fruit and berry smoothies the best but from time to time I'll make a really yummy green smoothie which I've found really holds me through the day. One thing that I always use are the froze mango and pineapple pagkages from Trader Joes. They taste SO yummy and are so convenient to pull right out of the freezer. You can even put some of the froze fruit in a bowl and heat it in the microwave for about 1 minuet to have as a nice little snack!

My favorite smoothie (as pictured below) is a fruit and berry smoothie. I often use Greek yogurt as my base over ice, as I find it gives a thicker consistency, and I always make sure to put either coconut water or almond milk in with my smoothies to make it nice and smooth.

Salut Sophie
