Lu Lu Lemon Summer Bikini Collection

by Sophie Langlois

I have 100% fell head over heals for Lu Lu Lemons new summer bikini collection. I picked up this top the other week and it is sooooo unbelievably amazing. Not only is it super adorable, but it also is extremely comfortable and versatile. It is reversible, so pretty much two tops in one, and the quality of the material is, of course, fabulous. What I really love about this bikini top is its very unique and doesn't look like the generic Victoria Secret push up bikini top. Now, dont get me wrong, I love a good Victoria Secret bikini every now and then but its nice to spice up your bikini collection!

Accessorizing!

These past few months I have been obsessed with layering lots of different necklaces and stacking lots of different bracelets. I've found that adding a few cute and fun accessories can really pull together your whole outfit. I know in my last favorites I talked about arm candy but really you can layer any type of accessory. I have seen lots of new high end ear wear, such as cuffs, stacking studs and so on, on the runway, in stores and on Pinterest lately. What I've been loving the most is layering my simple gold necklaces. I put them all at different lengths so that they fall at different places on my neck, creating an effortless and beautiful look! All in all, I am totally going to start experimenting more with my accessories this upcoming spring and summer! For some inspiration, Pinterest here I come!

Holiday Gift Idea

by Sophie Langlois

Whether its a secret santa, office party or for a special someone this gift is a fabulous and festive holiday gift! When it comes to gift giving, I always want to do something that is nice, sentimental and something that the person will actually enjoy and use. I was scrolling through pinterest during one of my classes, per usual, this past week and I found a hot chocolate mix that someone had layered into a big glass Mason jar. I thought that this would be such a cute, and sweet ;), gift to hand out during the holidays, so I pinned it to one of my food boards. Then, this weekend while I was in Target with my dad I saw the most adorable printed and monogrammed mugs and I knew that together, these two things would be the perfect set gift. So tonight I tested out my pinterest skills and attempted to put the gift together and, if I do say so myself, they turned out pretty well!

So, in order to make the hot coco mix I started by filling the bottom of the jar with Swiss Miss hot coco powder until the jar was about half way full. Then, I added about a half a cup of mini marshmallows and then layered crushed candy canes and chocolate chips on top, it was as simple as that! It took me all in all about 5 minuets, no joke. I added a cute gold "Merry Christmas" sticker to add a little bit of decoration to the jar and then I was all set! The nice thing about this gift is, before I added the sticker of course, it was holiday neutral so you could give it to anyone no matter what holiday they celebrated! Lastly, I just wrapped the mug in a little red and white polka dotted bag, added a "Merry Christmas" sticker and a name tag. Voila! The perfect holiday present :)

Happy Holidays Lovelies!!
