Benefit "Fomingly Clean" Face Wash

Let's be real for a second: everything from the benefit store is not only irresistible but also amazing. Benefit is a brand that I truly swear by. Everything I have ever tried or purchased from them I have loved, the people are always super nice, and the company itself is fabulous.

So, being the typical person I am, I was in the Benefit store about a month ago and thought of trying some new stuff out. Right away their skin care line caught my eye, because of its adorable packaging of course, and I asked the women if she could recommend a face wash or scrub for me. I have been using the same Skin Ceutials face wash for over three years now and, don't get me wrong, I still 100% swear by it; however, I was looking for a wash that was a little bit gentler and was something I could use when I come home at night after taking off my makeup.

The women let me try the "Fomingly clean" wash in the store and I immediately loved it. It's creamy, smooth, and hydrating. It takes off a full face of makeup (I'm serious, litterally all of it) and leaves my face feeling nourished and hydrated, rather then oily and irritated. This wash has not replaced my usual face wash; however, it has become a part of my every day skin care routine - usually to take makeup off or if I am just washing my face casually (like not after having exercised or while in the shower). All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this product to people of all skin types - it is a versatile product that would be an amazing addition to anyone's skin care routine.

Can't wait to try out more of benefits skin care!

Lace Up Sandals

by Sophie Langlois

This summer I have been getting into the gladiator lace up trend. I think that sandals like this are very pretty and can really pull together any outfit. Even if you are just wearing a sundress or shorts and a t shirt, a cute pair of lace up sandals can really tie everything together. There are tons of different ones out there: from thigh high lace ups, ankle lace up, or even espadrilles with laces around the ankles. Steve Madden, Sam Edelman, and Dolce Vita are three of my favorite brands for sandals like these but you can basically find them anywhere!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

by Sophie Langlois

I have been using this cleaning water for a few months now and I absolutely loveeee it. I mostly use it to take off my makeup or cleanse my face before I do my make up if I don't have time to do my full skin care routine before. I picked it up because a lot of beauty gurus had been raving about it and thought I would try it out. It leaves no oily residue on my face like the typical make up wipes do, which I love. Before I was using the Neutrogena night time make up wipes. They got the job done in regards to getting my make up off, but they always left my face feeling oily, irritated and not very clean. This cleansing water gets 100% of my make up off and also leaves my skin feeling like it was just washed: no left over oils or anything. I have very sensitive skin and this does not irritate it at all. I use it on a cotton pad and just wipe it all over my face, including my eye lids. Usually I wash my face after I use it but if I'm super tired or don't have time I'll just use the cleansing water and it works perfectly. I highly recommend this product!

Candles, Candles, Candles!!!

by Sophie Langlois

Ever since Christmas I have been burning candles like crazy! I always have had a few candles here and there in my room; however, I never actually burned them because, if were being honest, I kinda just forgot about them and used them as decoration. But ever since the holiday season I have been OBSESSED with burning all my candles. I love the feeling they give a room as well as the scents that they leave. I light them when I do homework, before I go to bed, when I am getting ready to go out, or honestly any time of day. They are just so cozy and relaxing, whats not to love!
