I was not slow in the slightest to jump on the Glossier bandwagon. My mom, the true queen of the beauty blog, was an OG Glossier follower. She watched this young blogger turn her passion into an incredible business and has stood by them the whole way. To no surprise, this love of Glossier rubbed off on me and I have been a lover of the company and all that it stands for ever since. So, what is so special about Glossier?
Glossier products cannot be topped.
I'll keep this first one short. Every single product I have tried from Glossier has become a holy grail product of mine. From makeup to skincare, they have cracked the code, not to mention the fact that their products are incredibly well priced. From their face masks to their lip gloss, I love every single product. Yes, I am a Glossier addict. No, I am not ashamed in the slightest.
Glossier promotes a positive image.
Glossier was created to provide products for all women for all different occasions. Not only are the products multifaceted, but so are their models and creators. The Glossier community is built around this idea of enhancing the beauty that is already within you and letting your natural beauty shine. Although slightly cheesy, I strongly believe in this mantra of Glossier and see it throughout all of their ad campaigns and promotions. Glossier is a company for everyone, period.
Glossier is clean.
Glossier products are good for your soul, your skin, and the planet. Being 100% cruelty free and made from simple ingredients, you know what you are putting on your body and how it was created. As Glossier's founder Emily Weiss explained, Glossier's products are "Effective, simple, good for you, safe."
While buying clean and cruelty free can be hard, I have tried to make the conscious effort to choose products that fit these categories and I strongly encourage you to do the same. We live in a world now where every little effort counts and it is our responsibility as citizens of the world to take every action we can to promote a productive and fair society that will live on for many future generations.
