Brandy Melville for staple tops: reliable, affordable, and simple.
I love Brandy Melville because it is always there to supply me with those cute and casual summer essential tops that I can just throw one with some jeans or even over a bathing suit.
Forever 21 for the trendy pieces: printed pants, graphic t-shirts, two-piece sets
I have never been a huge Forever 21 shopper, but this season I would skim through it and pick up a few things that I thought were cute and would be trendy this summer. Its a great place to find things that you're not completely positive you will love, but want to try out. The quality is usually pretty good and the prices are awesome, so I would totally recommend Forever 21 for any occasion, especially when you're looking to fill your closet with some of the latest trends.
Asos for pants and swim
Asos is one of the first places I go to, regardless of the season. I love their prices, the quality, and the accessibility of the website. They also have an AWESOME app that I use literally all the time. This season, I bought a few pairs of flowy pants, a swimsuit, and sunglasses from them thus far. I genuinely do love this brand, plus they give a 15% student discount!
Free People and Princess Polly for summer dresses
Free People has been a reliable brand that I have loved for many years. They can be a little pricey sometimes, but they really do have a great variety in their pricing and types of clothing. Each season I usually pick up a few pieces from Free People and this season I have been LOVING their dress selection - simple, unique, and pretty.
Princess Polly is a pretty new brand for me. I found it through Margot Lee, my blogging role model and inspiration, and I absolutely love their stuff. Great prices, always on trend, and very fun! One thing I would say is that since it is Austrialian sizing, go a size up then what you normally are! (use code margoxx for 20% off your order!)
Zara for tops
Again, another staple brand in my wardrobe. I love Zara for all things, especially shoes and accessories, but this season I have really been finding some fun and unique tops, especially for denim skirts and pants.
Lou and Grey for the basics
I love Lou and Grey, always have always will. While they do not have anything crazy or out of the box and most of their stuff is leisure wear, their clothing is made incredibly well and lasts for a very long time (not to mention every product is usually super DUPER soft). I found an awesome pair of jeans as well as a few sweaters and a pair of cotton shorts that I love, and correspondingly bought in every color they have.
Happy Spring (summer is just around the corner, hang in there)!
Xoxo,
Salut Sophie
